The Okpedafe community gathered in Maryland on August 8th, 2026 for yet another annual reunion, celebrating achievements, unity and cultural heritage.The Maryland Reunion 2026 brought together Okpedafe community members from across the United States for a memorable celebration of unity, culture, and fellowship.
Held in the heart of Maryland, the event featured awards ceremony, traditional music and dance performances, delicious homemade cuisine, and opportunities for families to reconnect and strengthen bonds.
Highlights included recap of past year achievements that include the Okpe Community High-tension Electric Pole replacement, a number of other attainmente. Also, discussions about other ongoing and future community development projects back home were held during the meeting.
The reunion concluded with plans for future gatherings and renewed commitment to supporting our community initiatives.
